Section Code 2010 : Shower valve with thermostatic temperature control
Back To Directory Sections‘Securitouch’ range of wall mounted, manually operated, exposed shower valves (chromium plated brass), incorporating a ceramic cartridge headwork controlling both flow and temperature using a single lever operating member. The products (except for S suffix models) are supplied with ¾” x ½” offset union adaptors which incorporate a servicing valve. The inlets of models containing EP include plastic filters and an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. All other models incorporate plastic flow regulators on each inlet and an approved single check valve cartridge on the outlet, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C.
Wall mounted, exposed bar type thermostatic blending valve (chromium plated brass), incorporating a quarter turn ceramic disc controlling the flow with single lever operating members. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with single lever operating members. The inlets incorporate an approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection and stainless steel strainers. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85°C.
Range of concealed, thermostatic blending valves (brass body). The flow is controlled via ‘detent’ (push to on push to off) headworks. Temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with a dome type operating member incorporating a manual override button. The inlets incorporate an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C.
Thermostatic mixing valve with a brass body (chromium plated) with EPDM ‘O’-rings. The inlets incorporate an approved check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 70°C.
Wall mounted exposed thermostatic blending valve (chromium plated brass body) incorporating a half turn ceramic disc headwork controlling the flow to either the overhead shower or hand shower with a dome type operating member. The temperature is controlled via thermostatic cartridge with a manual override button and dome type operating member. The inlets incorporate stainless steel strainers and approved check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C.
Range of wall mounted, concealed, thermostatic shower blending valves (chromium plated brass), incorporating a single sequential headwork controlling both temperature and flow using a single lever operating member. Both inlets incorporate a stainless-steel strainer and an approved single check valve cartridge, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. The inlets also incorporate plastic flow regulators. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 85°C.
Range of wall mounted, concealed thermostatic shower valves with brass bodies (various finishes), incorporating quarter turn ceramic disc headworks controlling the flow with a single lever operating member. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with cross top operating members incorporating a manual override button, the inlets incorporate approved check valve cartridges, however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection and a stainless-steel strainer. Maximum working pressure 10.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 60°C.
Range of concealed thermostatic shower valves (brass bodies) incorporating quarter turn ceramic disc headwork controlling the flow with cross top, dome type or single lever operating members. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge with cross top, dome type or single lever operating members. Product also incorporates a two position manual diverter. Both inlets incorporate an approved single check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection and stainless steel strainers. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 80°C.
Range of wall mounted two hole, shower outlet thermostatic shower mixing valves (chromium plated brass). Flow is controlled by a quarter turn ceramic disc headwork and temperature is independently controlled via a thermostatic cartridge with cross top, dome type or single lever operating members. Inlets incorporate stainless steel strainers and approved single check valve cartridges however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 80°C.
Range of wall mounted bar type thermostatic shower valves (chromium plated brass) incorporating quarter turn ceramic disc headwork controlling the flow with single lever type operating members. The temperature is controlled independently via a thermostatic cartridge also using single lever type operating member. Both inlets incorporate stainless steel strainers and approved single check valve cartridge however, the complete product has not been fully tested to demonstrate it provides backflow protection. Maximum working pressure 5.0 bar. Maximum operating temperature 65°C.
