Section Code 5046 : Site applied cistern coatings. Compliance with BS6920 relates to the conditions of cure specified in the listing. If the cure conditions are varied from those described below then compliance with BS6920 cannot be assummed without further testing. Where catalysts are required, only tested catalysts in the recommended concentrations should be used. Manufacturer's advice must be sought if any non standard mixing or curing conditions are being considered.
Back To Directory Sections'Aquakote Grey for use with Aquakote Blue'. Site applied, blue coloured (once applied), two-component epoxy coating. 'Aquakote Grey’ is the base coat and comprises of Parts A (grey liquid) & B (amber liquid) which are to be mixed in a 100:17 mass ratio and then applied in a wet film thickness of 200µm. Cure for 12 hours@10°C before applying top-coat. 'Aquakote Blue’ is the top-coat and comprises of Parts A (blue liquid) & B (amber liquid) which are to be mixed in a 100:17 mass ratio and then applied in a wet film thickness of 200µm. Cure for 12 hours@10°C. For use with water up to 23°C. Please note that 'Aquakote Grey & Aquakote Blue' are to be used in conjunction with each other. the approval does not cover 'Aquakote Grey and/or Aquakote Blue' when applied as a single coat.
'NO MORE DAMP Tanking slurry'. Site applied, grey coloured, cementitious tanking slurry supplied in powder form. Mix powder:water in a mass ratio of 3.85:1 and apply as per manufacturer's datasheet 'issue 5 - MC0420'. Cure for 7 days and 4 hours@20°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Hydradry Tanking slurry'. Site applied, grey coloured, cementitious tanking slurry supplied in powder form. Mix powder:water in a mass ratio of 3.85:1 and apply as per manufacturer's datasheet 'issue 5 - MC0320'. Cure for 7 days and 4 hours@20°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘Intergard 269 & Interline 975’. Site applied, white coloured Epoxy coating system comprising of a base coat and a topcoat. ‘Intergard 269’ is a two-component base coat which comprises of Part A (red/brown coloured) and Part B (straw coloured). Mix Part A & Part B in a mass ratio of 7.46:1 and apply as per manufacturer’s TDS ref. ‘206’, dated 08/02/2021. Cure for 12 days@25°C. ‘Interline 975’ is a two-component topcoat which comprises of Part A (white coloured) and Part B (straw coloured). Mix Part A & Part B in a mass ratio of 3.12:1 and apply as per manufacturer’s TDS ref. ‘3577’, dated 31/07/2017. Cure for 14 days@25°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘Tankguard DW White’ & ‘Tankguard DW Grey’. Site applied, two-part epoxy coatings. ‘Tankguard DW White’ may be used as a one-coat or two-coat system. ‘Tankguard DW Grey’ may be used as a one-coat or two-coat system. ‘Tankguard DW White’ & ‘Tankguard DW Grey’ may be used as a two-coat system, with either White or Grey as the water-contact coat. ‘Tankguard DW White’ & ‘Tankguard DW Grey’ each comprise of two parts (A & B) which are to be mixed in a volume ratio of 2:1 before applying as per manufacturer's Application Guide issued '17 October 2022'. Cure each coat for 7 days@23°C. For use with water up to 23°C. These materials are only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval, then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
