Section Code 5042 : Site applied pipe and fittings coatings. Compliance with BS6920 relates to the conditions of cure specified in the listing. If the cure conditions are varied from those described below then compliance with BS6920 cannot be assummed without further testing. Where catalysts are required, only tested catalysts in the recommended concentrations should be used. Manufacturer's advice must be sought if any non standard mixing or curing conditions are being considered.

Mix as per manufacturer’s instructions ref. ‘3577’ dated 31/07/2017. The coating is white coloured once mixed. Cure for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘Intercrete 4820’. Site applied, grey coloured waterproof mortar. Mix Intercrete 4820 & water in a mass ratio of 8.33:1. Cure for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘Belzona 1111 (Super Metal)’. Site applied, two-component, grey coloured (when mixed) epoxy coating comprising of a base (dark grey coloured) and solidifer (light grey coloured). Mix, apply and cure (cure according to ‘immersion in chemicals’) as per manufacturer's instructions for use `publication no. 10-08-19’. For use with water up to 23°C.
'Interline 925P Light Grey'. Site applied applied, two-component, grey coloured (once mixed) epoxy coating comprising of Part A (grey coloured, opaque paint) and Part B (brown coloured, translucent liquid). Mix Parts A and B in a 4.93:1 mass ratio. Cure for 7 days@30°C. For use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Interline 925 White with Ceilcote 680M Primer'. Site applied, white coloured (once mixed), two-component epoxy coating comprising of a two-component primer and two-component top-coat. The primer (Ceilcote 680M) comprises of Part A (uncoloured liquid) and Part B (uncoloured liquid). Mix Parts A and B in a 3:1 volume ratio. Cure for 10 days@30°C. The top-coat (Interline 925 White) comprises of Part A (white coloured, opaque paint) and Part B (white coloured, opaque paste). Mix Parts A and B in a 4.99:1 mass ratio. Cure for 7 days@30°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. 'Brushbond FLXIII'. Site applied, grey coloured, two-part elastomeric/cementitious coating. Mix and apply in accordance with manufacturer's instructions 'v10' dated October 2020. Cure coat 1 for 18 hours@7°C. Cure coat 2 for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Acrylatik'. Site applied, Acrylate primers available in white, red, blue and black colours. Apply as per manufacturer's instructions 'Appendix No. 1, TU 2316-002-92 872914-2016' dated '11.02.2016'. Cure for 20 minutes@20°C and then 20 minutes@90°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Belzona 5811DW2 (grey)'. Grey coloured, site applied, two-component epoxy coating. Mix Part A (grey, opaque glossy paste) with Part B (orange, transparent liquid) in a 4:1 mass ratio. Cure for 4 days@30°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and/or cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Belzona 1212'. Grey coloured, site applied, two-component epoxy coating. Mix Part A (black, opaque paste) with Part B (metallic grey, opaque paste) in a 5:6 weight ratio. Cure for 16 hours@30°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and/or cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Belzona 1331'. Grey coloured, site applied, two-component epoxy coating. There are two ways the coating may be prepared: First coat: Mix Belzona 1331 (white, opaque paste) parts A & B in a weight ratio of 2.2:1, apply and then cure for 2 days@30°C then apply: Second coat: Mix Belzona 1331 (grey, opaque paste) parts A & B in a weight ratio of 2.2:1, apply and then cure for 2 days@30°C. OR: First coat: Mix Belzona 1331 (white, opaque paste) parts A & B in a weight ratio of 2.2:1, apply and then cure for 14 days@10°C then apply: Second coat: Mix Belzona 1331 (grey, opaque paste) parts A & B in a weight ratio of 2.2:1, apply and then cure for 14 days@10°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. `VANDEX BB 75`. Site applied, two part, grey coloured cementitious coating. Mix Part A (grey powder) with Part B (water) in a mass ratio of 5:1. Cure for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
`Vandex Unimotar 1`. Site applied, grey coloured, two part cementitious coating. Mix Part A (grey powder) with Part B (water) in a weight ratio of 25:3. Cure for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
`Belzona 1321`. Site applied, two-part, epoxy amine coating available in grey or blue colours. Mix base and hardener in a 11:1 mass ratio. Apply and cure as per manufacturer’s IFU ‘FN10026’, publication number ’02-09-21’. For use with water up to 23°C. These materials are only approved for the mixing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘MasterSeal 6100 FX White to be used in conjunction with MasterSeal 6100 FX Grey’. Site applied, two-component cementitious coating. Mix ‘MasterSeal 6100 FX White’ (Coat 1) with water in a mass ratio of 15:5.6. Apply and cure for 1 day@5°C before applying Coat 2. Mix ‘MasterSeal 6100 FX Grey’ (Coat 2) with water in a mass ratio of 15:5.6. Apply and cure for 5 days@5°C. For use with water up to 23°C. 'Interline 925GF (White)'. Site applied, white coloured, two-component, solvent free epoxy coating. Mix part A (white liquid) with part B (off-white liquid) in a volume ratio of 3:1 and apply as per manufacturer's instructions '2253' dated 29/11/2011. Cure for 7 days@25°C. For use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Interline 925 White'. Site applied, two-component, white coloured epoxy coating. Mix part A (off-white white coloured liquid) and part B (off-white coloured liquid) in a volume ratio of 3:1 and apply as per manufacturer's instructions ref. '2252', issue date 17/12/2020. Cure for 7 days@25°C. Between January 2022 and August 2022, the coating was for use with water up to 23°C. Between September 2022 and January 2027, the coating is for use with water up to 60°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and/or cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Nitocote CM210 '. Site applied, grey coloured, two-component cementitious coating comprising of Nitocote CM210 White (base coat) and Nitocote CM210 grey (top-coat). 'Nitocote CM210 White' (base coat) consists of Part A (white coloured powder) and Part B (white coloured liquid) to be mixed in a mass ratio of 100:27.7. Cure for 4 hours@20°C. 'Nitocote CM210 grey' (top-coat) consists of Part A (grey coloured powder) and Part B (white coloured liquid) to be mixed in a mass ratio of 100:27.7. Cure for 8 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mix and/or cure conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the material is not covered by the scope of the approval.
'Vandex Super'. Site applied, two-component, grey coloured (once mixed) cementitious coating. Mix cement powder with water in a weight ratio of 5:2. Apply as per manufacturer's Instructions for Use '2nd issue', dated '18.11.2020'. Cure for 21 days@7°C. For use with water up to 23°C. This material is only approved for the mixing and curing conditions that appear on the approval. If the mixing and/or curing conditions are varied from those specified on the approval then the materials are not covered by the scope of the approval.
‘MasterSeal P 770 Primer, MasterSeal M 808 Grey, and MasterSeal M 808 Light Grey’. Site applied coating system, which is light grey coloured (once mixed and applied), comprising of a primer and polyurethane coatings. Coat 1 primer: Mix parts A & B of ‘MasterSeal P 770 Primer’ in a weight ratio of 2.2:2.8. Apply as per manufacturer’s TDS ‘version No. 1’, dated ‘June 2021’. Cure for 24 hours@7°C. Coat 2 (coating): Mix parts A & B of ‘MasterSeal M 808 Grey’, dark grey coloured (once mixed) polyurethane coating in a weight ratio of 3.3:1.7. Apply as per manufacturer’s instructions ‘version No. 1’, dated ‘October 2020’. Cure for 6 hours@7°C. Coat 3 (water contact coating): Mix parts A & B of ‘MasterSeal M 808 Light Grey’ polyurethane coating in a weight ratio of 3.3:1.7. Apply as per manufacturer’s instructions ‘version No. 1’, dated ‘October 2020’. Cure for 7 days@7°C. When applying the coating system to GRP there is no need to apply a primer. Mix, apply and cure ‘MasterSeal M 808 Grey’ and then mix, apply and cure ‘MasterSeal M 808 Light Grey’ (water contact layer) as detailed above. For use with water up to 23°C.
